Privacy Policy

Effective date: 28-9-2026

Al-Kindi Clinics Center (“we”, “us”, “the clinic”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data, and the rights you have, in line with Qatar’s Law No. 13 of 2016 on Protecting Personal Data Privacy and its implementing guidelines.

1. Who we are

Al-Kindi Clinics Center is the controller of your personal data. We are a licensed medical center providing dental and dermatology services at Street 808, Zone 39, Building 73, Jawaan Street, Al Sadd, Doha, Qatar. Our contact details are at the end of this policy.

2. Personal data we collect

Contact and identity data: your name, phone number, email address, age, gender and nationality.

Inquiry data: the treatment you are interested in, your preferred appointment time and your answers to short questions in our forms.

Health data: when you become our patient, we keep medical records, treatment history, clinical photographs and related health information.

Website data: technical information such as your device, browser and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar tools (see section 8).

We collect this data when you fill in a form on our website or in our Facebook and Instagram ads, message us on WhatsApp, call us, book an appointment or visit the clinic.

3. Why we use your data

We process your personal data only for legitimate purposes, with your consent or where it is necessary for your care or required by law:

  • To respond to your inquiry and book, confirm or remind you of appointments.
  • To assess, provide and follow up on your treatment.
  • To keep medical records as required by Qatar’s health regulations.
  • To send you information about our services and offers, only if you have agreed to receive it (see section 6).
  • To improve our website, services and patient experience.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We collect only the data we need for these purposes and keep it accurate and up to date.

4. Health data

Health data is personal data of a special nature under Qatari law. We process it only for your medical care and related legal obligations, in accordance with the permissions and conditions set by the competent authority, and with additional safeguards. Access is limited to our medical and authorized administrative staff.

5. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only when necessary:

  • Service providers that help us operate, such as appointment, messaging, IT and hosting systems. They may only use your data on our instructions and must keep it secure and confidential.
  • Advertising platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), when you submit your details through a form in their ads.
  • Government and health authorities, when required by law.

Some of these providers may store or process data on servers outside Qatar. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data remains protected, and we do not transfer it where this would breach Qatari law.

6. Marketing messages

We send offers and promotional messages by WhatsApp, SMS, email or phone only to people who have given their explicit consent. Every marketing message identifies Al-Kindi Clinics Center as the sender and tells you how to stop receiving messages. You can withdraw your consent at any time by replying “STOP” or by contacting us, and we will stop sending you marketing messages promptly. Appointment confirmations and reminders about your treatment are not marketing messages.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep inquiry and contact data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or until you ask us to delete it. Medical records are kept for the period required by Qatar’s health regulations.

8. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies to work properly. With your consent, we also use analytics and advertising cookies (such as the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site and to measure our advertising. You can accept or refuse these optional cookies through our cookie banner and change your choice at any time in your browser settings.

9. Keeping your data secure

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure or alteration. If a breach occurs that may cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the competent authority as required by law.

10. Your rights

Under Qatari law, you have the right to:

  • Withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time.
  • Object to the processing of your personal data where it is not necessary for its purpose or is excessive, unfair or unlawful.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate personal data.
  • Ask us to delete your personal data, except where we must keep it by law (for example, medical records).
  • Be informed about how your data is processed and whether inaccurate data about you has been disclosed.
  • Request a copy of your personal data.

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the competent personal data privacy authority in Qatar.

11. Children

We process personal data of patients under 18 only with the explicit consent of their parent or legal guardian, who may exercise the rights above on the child’s behalf.
